The famous kasbah of Draa Valley is Tamnougalt located on the left bank of the river. Zagora is an administrative center famous for its panel “Tombouctou 52 days”. It was the cradle of the Saadian dynasty that ruled Morocco during the sixteenth century. 18 km far from Zagora, an old village called Tamgrout.
